Daniel Jackson is a member of the Clarksville Gearheads Car Club. I asked Daniel what he likes about the car scene. He said, “The local car scene tends to be more of an extended family. No matter if you’re JDM, Euro, or American Muscle. Everyone unites together due to the fact that we all love cars.” Daniel’s family retired here from the military life in 2003 so this has become his home. He is a local car photographer and a mechanic at Firestone. Daniel has a YouTube channel based around the JDM culture. Daniel owns a, 1996 Honda Accord Coupe and a 1995 Honda Accord Sedan. The sedan is his daily car and the coupe is his project car. He recently picked up the coupe after months of searching since they are hard to find nowadays. Daniel has primarily done restoration work on his cars so far. He bought it somewhat stacked with parts. Like most car enthusiasts he wants to build it the way he wants and make it “his car". He is currently in the process of selling everything and essentially making it stock again. Then, he plans on building it the way he wants. Future plans are to make it the cleanest Accord in Tennessee. Daniel has big plans for the car so stay tuned! All of his builds are posted on his YouTube channel, Ikigari.
I asked Daniel if this is his dream car. He said, “Although the Accord is one of my favorite cars it is not my dream car. My dream car is the Nissan 180 sx (RHD). He hopes to have one imported one day. Where are his favorite places to drive? He said, “My favorite places to drive are Woodlawn for the scenery, Nashville and Franklin Street at night.”
