This week’s blog features Clarksville Gearhead member, Quantez Green. I asked Quantez what he likes about the car scene. He said, “Being that this area is a military flooded city, it’s diverse in every way, especially the car scene. No matter what street I drive I’m sure to see a beautiful and “different” car.” The military brought Quantez here in 2017. He is young and says he hasn’t experienced the world yet but right now he loves the diversity of this city.
Quantez owns a gorgeous 2005 Mustang GT. He has owned the car for about a year. He plans on turning it into a driving memorial for his little brother and first cousin who both owned S197’s before they died from gun violence. Quantez has done an engine swap from a 2007 Mustang GT; he does everything except for tire mounting. Future plans include getting her a wide body and a half and half wrap. Half of the wrap will be for his brother’s car and the other half for his cousin. As far as performance goes he says he wouldn’t mind hearing a “tss, tss, tss” every time he lets off the gas. A nitrous hook up may be in this cars future!
I asked Quantez if this is his dream car. He said, “It’s my childhood dream car. My dream car is the big brother, a 2007 Mustang GT500.” Where are his favorite places to drive? He said, “I just got back down here but I usually take her on any backroad and let her sing. As long as she sings, I don’t care where she goes.”
If you would like to follow Quantez on Instagram, his name is @_Qstang_. Thank you Quantez for participating in our Full Throttle Thursday blog! Join me each week to meet a new vehicle owner and their vehicle.
On behalf of all the dolls, thank you for your service!
