Today is April 22, Earth Day! It is also Mr. Bobby’s birthday! What better day to thank him?
Mr. Bobby has served as a civil servant for 30 years. He started as a volunteer fire fighter in Levittown, NY and went on to join the Yonkers Police department. While with the police department, he worked his way up from patrol, to detective, to Lieutenant of a radio room-where he was in charge of dispatch.
Wherever he lives, Mr. Bobby has desire to help his community. He has helped his local community by being part of the Elks Lodge doing volunteer work. He gives his time to help others in his residential area by being a handy man, a sound board, and all-around good guy.
Mr. Bobby currently works at a U-Haul storage center helping people rent units and trucks. When he isn’t busy at work, he loves to golf and hike. He has hiked the Appalachian Trail from start to finish. He has even self-published a book about his experience, They Call Me Panda. Rumor has it that Mr. Bobby is working on his next book.
Mr. Bobby has raised his children to follow in his footsteps. His son has hiked the trail with him and co-authored the book. One of his daughters volunteers her time within her community. His other daughter runs an animal walking/sitting business. Mr. Bobby also has a granddaughter who gives her time to her community.
Thank you Mr. Bobby for giving so much of your time to keep us all safe!! We appreciate all you have given for us!
