Andy Hardy is a member of the Clarksville Gearheads Car Club. I asked Andy what he likes about being part of the Gearheads. He said, “I love what the Gearheads have done for the car scene, they have really brought everyone together.”
Andy owns a 2003 Nissan 350z. He bought the car not caring for the z at all but he wanted a drift car and he says it was cheap. Andy loves the car now and if you ever get a chance to see him drifting you will understand why! He says it is just a clean full bolt on car set up for drifting. It has dual caliper hydro set up and gk tech wide angle kit with 100s of little things to make it good at what it does. Andy takes great pride in doing all his own work.
The car has a full custom audio system which he did as well. He says, “The car does not have a name. You don’t name things when you beat them up like I do.” Good point! Future plans for the car include an LS swap over the winter. Is this your dream car? Andy says, “My dream car changes every day. Right now I’d say a C6 Corvette to drift.”
Andy moved to Clarksville at a young age and considers it home. He is an EMT for the county and plans on being around for a long time. His favorite place to drive is the track at Nashville Super Speedway. Andy also likes to drive at the Clarksville Speedway and out off of Exit 11.
