Jeff Bean has been a supporter and member of the Clarksville Gearhead Car Club for a while. I asked him what he likes about being a member. He said, “I like the variety. There are cars for everyone; young, old, new, muscle, old iron, low riders, trucks, etc.”
Some of you may remember a blog I wrote on Jeff and Marilyn’s beautiful red Cadillac, Louise. Jeff loves cars and has many of them! He is a car rescuer of sorts. This week my story is on his 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat, which he calls Fluffy. He has owned the car for about 3 years. It has a stock drivetrain, cat head, billboard stripes, rear window louver, and pistol grip shifter handle. The car was runner-up at the 2018 Challenger Fest 6 speed shootout. He likes the car as it is. Jeff loves to cruise and do a little “spirited driving” on rare occasions.
This slip represents his best ¼ mile time, using drag radials. His times are on the right and the winner’s times are on the left. Not bad Jeff!
I asked Jeff if this is his dream car. He said, “My dream car keeps changing.” Where are his favorite places to drive? He said, “I like to drive to local cruise-ins, curvy roads, and long straight ways.”
Jeff’s wife, Marilyn lived here so when they hooked up he moved into her place. Jeff has always had a love of cars and they have many! There are several that I am I hoping to do a write up on in the future. He enjoys drag racing and has rescued various cars and restored them. He also likes tinkering with cars and helping other people work on their cars.
Jeff is not on Instagram at this time. Thank you, Jeff, for participating in our Full Throttle Thursday blog! Join me each week to meet a new vehicle owner and their vehicle.
