This week I have a special treat for everyone! Not only do I have one car, but I have two. This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Jeffrey Stout. I asked him what he liked about the car scene. He said, “I’m still new to the scene but I would have to say the multiple style of builds.”
Jeffrey’s first car, which he calls Greta, is the black 1986 Porsche 928 and he has owned it for little over a year. It was Porsche’s first production car with a V8 and first year of the 5.0L. It is the only front mounted V8 engine coupe Porsche ever produced.
The white car, which Jeffrey calls Gretchen, is a 1980 Porsche 924 turbo. This car is his project car. Jeffrey says, “I am a purest when it comes to my classics so all work done or being done is to keep them as original as possible.”
He also said, “Don’t tell my wife, but I am currently looking for a Porsche 944 to add to the collection.” Don’t worry Jeffrey, your secret is safe with me!
Is this your dream car? Jeffrey says, “I’ve loved Porsche since I was 14 and my dad let me drive one. However, my dream car is a 1967 Chevelle Super Sport.” What a coincidence that was the first car I owned!
I asked Jeffrey if he has a favorite place to drive his car. He said, “I like long drives, I don’t stop much besides for the car meets/shows.”
Like a lot of the military, Jeffrey made Ft. Campbell his last stop in his military career. He is now retired and attending Austin Peay State University.
Jeffrey on behalf of all of the dolls thank you for your service!
If you would like to follow Jeffrey on Instagram, his name is jeffreystout1. Thank you Jeffrey for participating in our Full Throttle Thursday blog!
Join me each week to meet a new vehicle owner and their vehicle.
