Resiliency Outreach Inc. Banquet 02/29/2020, Oak Grove, KY

Over the last weekend, Pinups for Positivity had the honor and privilege of assisting with a charity banquet hosted by Resiliency Outreach Inc. This banquet was a selfless contribution to the community and a reinforcement of the camaraderie amongst this network of charities. There were several raffles and an impressive silent auction to raise funds to distribute among 5 other charity organizations to include Yellow Ribbon Fund, YAIPAKS, Special Ops Xcursions, and Patriot Ministries. Whitt's Barbecue provided the catering, and the live entertainment from Abby Gillespie was an amazing treat. This was a wonderfully positive experience for each of our members whom attended. The ladies and I look forward to any future opportunities to help with these organizations!

Each of our ladies wanted to extend our gratitude to the leaders of Resiliency Outreach Inc., Mr. Russell and Mr. Terry for the opportunity to help with the ticketing process, t-shirt sales, photography, raffle tickets and prize presentations.

A word from our founder, Miss Starla Smiles:

"It was great to meet the gentlemen from Resiliency Outreach in person after solely communicating online. I was thrilled that we were able to help them in various ways and to be a part of their 2nd annual banquet that honored other non profits in our community.

There were so many highlights of the night but some of my favorites were:

- interacting with amazing guests and sponsors

- hearing more about the partnerships between the various organizations

- watching the children dance, shoot, and having a good time

- seeing our dolls smiling, laughing, and enjoying themselves

- admiring all of the amazing donations

- most of all, being able to give back to so many people and organizations that do so much for others"

From Goldie:

"I loved seeing our ladies shine while serving, we were all in awe of how Resiliency Outreach and the other organizations present, were helping to change lives. It was such an honor to be around so many wonderful and inspiring people. They humble me to do even more for our service members, both active and veteran. There was so much love and gratitude in that room that it made my heart soar. It was a night that I will forever look back on with a smile and fond memories"

From Mrs. Coastal Kittie:

"The event was a fun experience! It was a great way to help out those who were willing to give all for us, while meeting others who wish to support them. Plus, the guests were all just fun people to be with! I met people with all sorts of backgrounds who wanted nothing more than to support our military."

Mrs. Kitties' mother, Ms. Gail also attended and assisted in full pinup attire;

"I had a great time at this event. Met amazing people who were willing to go out of their way to help those in need, especially our military."
